Be The Gap! - Message by Jono Laning

SCRIPTURES TO READ AND MEMORISE

Please read 2 Kings 22, and discuss the importance of "being the gap." Josiah (who became king at 8YO) didn't follow the example of "everyone else," Not even his evil king father and grandfather etc. or of his other advisors and fellow subjects who worshiped idols and did evil in the eyes of the Lord. Josiah was a "gap" in the domino chain, stopping the sin continuing.

Please memorise Romans 12:2a.

Hey kids and parents,

please scan the Gospels for the miracles of Jesus, and then read:

Matthew 14:13-21 - Jesus feeds the 5000

Memorise Ephesians 3:20 "With God's power working in us, He can do much, much more than anything we can ask or think of. Ephesians 3:20 (ERV)"

Maybe during the week it you could read about some other miracles of Jesus such as the boatloads of fish. (Luke 5:1-11)
